In our dyanmic world with rapid advancement in technology and constant-evolvement in socio-economic landscape, people endeavour to catch up with this rapid pace. However, we will often be frustrated, lost or caught in constraints. As a Chinese proverb says, “to rest is to walk further”; Pause is the Beginning the beginning of a new journey that lies ahead.

One step further

“One small step for man, a giant leap for mankind” – the first man to take a step on the surface of the moon, Neil Armstrong. Now imagine that you have completed a task, one that has been sitting on your to-do list: a deadline that you met, a research project that completed, a trip that you finished. You can cross it over and mark as ‘done’. It has been completed, it is in the past, you can move forward.

Crossing the Rubicon

“Crossing the Rubicon” means to take an irrevocable step that commits one to a specific course. Based on Julius Caesar’s crossing of the Rubicon River which instigated the Great Roman Civil War, the theme focuses on celebrating and exploring pivotal points of inspiring success stories, amazing experiences, and world-changing ideas which transformed our lives.
